Relationship. . .

Well 24+ hours later and I am doing fine.
I do have a nice war wound to the head.
I am trying to come up with a better story then ” I fell out of the shower” So far we are liking the:
“kicked in the head by a giraffe”
“fell on my camera while taking a picture or these kids
what do you think? Although falling out of the shower has a nice ring to it.

I am about to upload more photos to flickr. So be sure to check it out before you go to bed!
For real check it out!

Because today was a big day and I mean BIG!
It was a day that will forever be in the hearts of two relationships: the sponsor and the child.
Words can not begin to express the emotions of meeting your sponsor child.
As Brian said It’s hard to imagine that a little kid in Africa can make you so nervous and so excited.
And I know the teachers told these kids the same thing, that its okay to be nervous and excited when they meet their sponsor.
But the moment they meet it’s powerful and it’s real! And I got to see it today! It’s my favorite part of my job because this is what it is all about.

Please please please read the blogs from today! Each one has a different story and different experience that is beautiful.
I can take a hundred pictures but no picture compares to the lasting feeling this relationship captured today.
