Hello from Ecuador!

I am here this week with a great team of artists and speakers that partner with Compassion!

I LOVE being back in this country. It has been 2 years TOO long!

Yesterday we visited a Compassion program right out side Quito . . .

Is that pic above not the sweetest. . .

Today we are headed north to a community on the coast almost bordering Colombia.

They have had very few visitors SO I know we are excited ( and they are too!)

Can’t wait to share this part of our trip on Thursday when we get back to Quito!

christine - It amazes me how your photos make me feel like I am right there walking with you. You have a gift…the way you are able to capture their beautiful faces and their surroundings and transform them in a way that we see the heart of what God is doing in their midst! It feeds MY soul…

I am a big fan of the great handmade online store!

Anyways…I decided to not just be a buyer on etsy but alas a seller.

And here is the photo that sparked it all ( that at the convincing of some friends)

We just got back from spending a few days

It was such a great way to start the summer!

Friends, boats, wake boarding, sun, cooking, relaxing. . .the works!

Little Willis Bud didn’t go with us but he had a vacay of his own out on the farm!

He is WIPED out. I so wish you could hear the snores that were occurring when this photo was taken.

Ashley Honea - Love all these pictures!!!!!!!! The kids are beautiful. I grew up in the Philippines so it’s my home away from home. And the picture of the sari-sari store! I loved those as a kid.

Lucinda - Found my way over here from simple mom… Absolutely stunning photos. You really depict a story – many tears in my eyes as I slowly scroll through. Big brown eyes reminding me of my own daughter. Wondering what it would feel like to put her to sleep on the floor. Thank you for sharing. x
