Christmas at the Ryman. . .

We all have things that really REALLY put us in the the Christmas Spirit right??

Mine. . .

The Andrew Peterson Christmas Concert at the Ryman.

My husband has been a part of this concert since its birth 11 years ago and SO… it’s a part of our Christmas Season

Here’s the Husband playing the dobro-OHHH!

There is a tour that starts the first part of December, but then towards the end of the tour the show makes a stop in Nashville.

AND it’s at The Ryman. My favorite venue in all of . . .well. . .  All Time / Everywhere!

It is beyond beautiful and musical history, art, photos, Hatch Print Posters and more can be found in every lil nook of that place!

LOVE.

Sidenote: everytime before the show we meet in one of the dressing rooms. Hatch Prints cover the walls and EVERYTIME Gabe finds a way to say " ahhh good to see that aunt Jill has played here" get it... "Scott" we are Scotts ( yup heard it for SIX years! that is LOVE)

So many friends and favorite songwriters & musicians Come together for the Ryman show and share the stage that night. . . Jill Phillips, Andy Gullahorn, Andrew Osenga, Ben Shive, Todd Bragg, Randall Goodgame, Jason Gray, Paul Eckberg, Cason Cooley, Ron Block, Stuart Duncan, Sierra Hull, Claire Indie, Buddy Green and More!

You need to Download Behold The Lamb Of God album and then Book Your Ticket to Nashville Next year for the Ryman Show!

And to close the night. . . everyone sings as the artists leave the stage . . .

O Come All Ye Faithful
Joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem.
Come and behold Him,
Born the King of Angels;
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.

I promise the Ryman has never sounded more beautiful!!

Let the Christmas Season Begin. . .

December 24, 2010 - 2:27 am

Jessica Kelley - we were there! It was an amazing show, our second time being there. I need to follow you around next time, you got some fantastic shots! I was just able to get some from my seat, which I thought turned out pretty good :) btw, Gabe has always been my favorite musician….playing so many instruments, and playing alongside Bebo, AP, etc…he’s pretty much got my dream job.

Blanca Huff - Her Royal Blogness (as Shelley calls you)…your photos are AMAZING!!! Is there a special camera you use or is it just years of experience? I’m always after that “perfect” picture of my kids, but am never really satisfied. We have an Olympus that cost a pretty penny, but I could never get such reflective and beautiful pics like you get. What’s the secret? Even the pics I try to take at POG’s concerts are blah after I look at your’s. Have a great Christmas! And thanks for helping with Shelley’s blog. It’s been an enjoyable part of my day reading it and I’m sad it’s soon coming to an end. Maybe you could encourage her to continue through the new year. Haved a good one!
