Having traveled to some of the poorest parts of the world with Compassion International, my hope is that my photographs inspire you to see poverty in a way that might challenge you to make a difference. Compassion gives hope to children and acts as an advocate, to release them from their spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty enabling them to become fulfilled Christian adults. Today, Compassion helps more than 1 million children in 24 countries. Using my journalism background and artistic style my hope is to tell a story in the most creative and true way. I am so drawn to the faces and textures of each country I visit and I am always finding art in my surroundings. Hopefully I am able to bring part of that world back with me to share with you here.
